Thorbjørn Andersen (b. 1977, Denmark) is a visual artist working with conceptual painting, installation and photography. He is also a visiting lecturer, educator and curator.

Thorbjørn Andersen has exhibited across a range of institutions for contemporary art; in private galleries (KANT, Kirkhoff Gallery, IMT London), artist-run spaces and project spaces (Modtar, The Woodmill, Unit 3B), in museums (SMK, NJK) and in commercial art fairs (Unseen Photography Fair, Amsterdam; Preview Berlin; AAF London). He has organized a number of exhibitions since 2008 (NJK Museum, Modtar, Standpoint Gallery).

Eye-Eye is a curatorial and collaborative platform between artists Flore Nové-Josserand and Thorbjørn Andersen.

Project for EC1 24H CPH

BLOW-UP

BLOW-UP is a workshop for young people, working with projections, storytelling, shadows and colour, with a focus on experimental and atmospheric approaches.

As part of EC1 24H, Eye-Eye will offer a trial run of the workshop, turning the gallery into a DIY creative space and using it to make a live projection onto the window of the gallery, as a form of durational public performance for the street.

Program of the day:
13.00 – 14.00: set-up of materials and equipments
14.00 – 17.00: BLOW-UP workshop
17.00 – 20.30: display of the projections made in the workshop
